Thanks so much Claire for your guest post on Bringing Up Brits. I really enjoyed reading it and learning more about your life in the States. I love how Harry is experiencing American culture through the eyes of a British child. Some of what he says and his observations are what I imagine my children would pick up on if we were to move to the States. They would definitely be British at heart but love all the positive aspects of American culture – like the parades and sense of a friendly and open community. I also think they would retain their British accent like Harry has
