Luckily most of the movies were in English with Czech subtitles. In Tokyo, we had a TV but it didn’t get any English language channels. OR I watched the Australian version when I was in Melbourne. Can’t remember, but I do remember watching a non-US baking reality show and being fascinated by it.

One of the things I loved about traveling to English-speaking countries last year was that I could watch TV – you gain so much cultural insight doing so. My husband and I spent Christmas in Ireland a few years ago and it was so much fun to watch all of the Christmas specials, Christmas cooking shows, etc.
