Thanks so much Gail - great gift ideas. I've never experienced the joint gift, that sounds amazing. But is it hard to organize with so many parents? I'll be getting gifts and cards all ready this weekend because next weekend we are so busy I'm afraid I will run out of time!

My kids finish this week so I've had to sort teachers gifts. Bath salts and a box of green and blacks chocolate for 2 teachers. Some Neal's yard lotion and green and blacks for the other teachers. I had 5 to buy for - 2 teachers and 3 assistants.

My favourite gifts are when the whole class goes in together on a gift. We've given massages and restaurant vouchers before. Always appreciated by the teacher.

Have also given bottles of organic wine. Oh and for the teachers bday this year we bought her a fruit tree for her allotment. My daughter has the same teacher for 8 years so it's hard to always come up with new ideas. :)

I agree anyone that can be a teacher is a saint.
