Do you want Bringing Up Brits blog to continue?
I need your help please. I’m considering giving up my Bringing Up Brits blog for personal reasons (mainly because my older children protest against me writing about them and they detest having their photos on it). I’m always careful not to post things that might embarrass them, but now they are getting older and their friends and their schools have found it, they really don’t want me posting anything about them anymore.
On another note, 2015 is going to be a busy one work-wise for me and I’m also trying to start up a UK based charity which will only add to my workload. Of course I would keep www.bringingupbrits.co.uk website there just wouldn’t be a blog element to the website anymore 
What I want to ask is do people want Bringing Up Brits blog to continue? I don’t want to let any followers/readers down so this is why I’m asking. I tried to create a poll on Facebook but that failed – wouldn’t let me see any of the answers unless I paid to upgrade! Cheeky!
So, based on what I’ve said above and what you like/love about my blog, would you want to see it continue?

I am an American in Delaware and I love your blog. I love reading about British real life, not just what is on television shows. I am a retired teacher and hope you keep up the blog but understand when real life gets in the way. You’ve done an awesome job so far!

Hi Sharyn, thanks so much for your kind words. It’s funny because what my kids see on TV over here about America is sometimes very exaggerated. Like everyone has a HUGE house and they only eat hamburgers! Probably similar to what you see on TV about the British – they only drink tea from tea cups with saucers and say ‘Sorry’ a million times for no reason
Well, I definitely eat more than hamburgers and our house is a 3 bedroom split level but we do have a pretty big yard (garden). We live in a college town with a Main Street and a beautiful campus to walk around. Oh, and I have an British dog, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel!

I came across this blog one day feeling especially lonely and isolated. I was googling for an expat group and pining for the sound of a fellow American accent. It can be difficult as an American ‘mum’, trying not to stub your toe everytime you take a social step! I’m not sure I’ll ever learn the fine British art of understatement properly, however hard I might try.
