Happy 4th of July 2014

Wishing everyone a very happy 4th of July today! If you live in the USA, then I’m sure you’re gonna have a great day. If you’re living outside the USA, I hope you get to celebrate in some way – even if just a little bit.

Today is the 3rd anniversary of the publication of my first book Bringing Up Brits. Yay yay! Since then, I’ve co-written and published another book called Inspiring Global Entrepreneurs with Heidi Walker. Heidi is in North Carolina celebrating the 4th and I am here in England celebrating behind ‘enemy’ lines with my parents (I finally get to celebrate the 4th of July in Britain with other Americans!). How wonderful – too bad all the schools aren’t closed. I guess we can’t have everything but having my parents here visiting has been truly wonderful.

Enjoy the day everyone even if you have to go to work or school. For the first time ever here in England, I am taking the day off work to observe this American holiday.
